After I read this dialogue, I agree that students not same like students in lecture. Students in school only know the teachers are facilitator. we must know that mathematics is natural such a river who always flow. in this thing , I agree with Genitta that students didn't know how to answer the questions if the teachers change the questions. Teachers only give the same example from book. Teachers didn't thing about the students must understand about the concept. because of that students can understand all of questions although the teachers change the language of the questions.we need the students think out of the box. Practice is one of the good method to make students like mathematics. we must know that mathematics not only one thing. for example how the result of 6 times 7 , the answer must be 42, this is right answer. students in school will always answer it. but they only that 6 times 7 only one way to get it. but we understand about the concept, we can get 6 times 7 the result with another way. not only to know the 6 times 7 is 42. we have to think out of the box and learn about the concept about all lessons in mathematics. so we can teach our students well.

The position of teacher and students in the class is different. But in this thing , I want you to know that teacher is not a God. You may not to admire them. Because of teacher can not make you be success, except of your will. The students position must look for the knowledge by their self. But the problem in all of school is almost same. Mathematic lesson in the class really make students bored. Because of it, let us make the mathematic lesson be unique. If we give the mathematic lesson be curious , they will seek the answer. In this thing, teachers have to be a creative person. They have to do more creative to make change in mathematic lesson. I thought the education of Indonesia not direct to the modern education or modern method. But the education of Indonesia still use the traditional method. So, we can see the education in Indonesia is never moving. Teachers role dominant in this thing. Actually , teachers only to be facilitator. Owned confuse teachers when they teach was not the simple problem. They teach mathematic well, but better to make discipline learning to students to learn by their self. Because the knowledge that we look for by our self is the most we remember than the transfer knowledge. Transfer knowledge can make the students be lazy, don’t have concentration , the teachers always talk so that the students can not think and seek the information. It make the memory of students is low. This is the effect of the traditional method. There are 2 methods which always we use in learning.
a)    Need → Trust → To facilitate → Construct→ Invent → Own life → own knowledge

b)    Explain → Skill → Knowledge → Attitude → Will → Transfer knowledge
Both of this method use in schools and in college, but the (b) method more using than (a). why teacher use the (b) method, this is because of they don’t believe with their students. That’s why the teachers use the (b) method will only get the results of children who just can count shortly. While the (a) method, only a few are used, because their teachers are taking steps to use this method, it must take a huge risk. Apart from a few students who do not understand, any chatter that disfigure the teacher, but for the future of their students, the teacher anyway. The result was really satisfying. Another innovative method is the use of technology, increasingly sophisticated technology can definitely make the students understand what they need to learn. Digging deep, seek knowledge, solve problems, students need it now, and the most important thing when in university later, they would be entered into formal mathematic.

If students grow up like the picture above, as well as their mindset. So in real, thing to do is to prepare students to use when learning method (a). because the students will be unpredictable. but because of the different dimensions of fear, it becomes manifest. Why the students are afraid to speak out? It could be that because of his teacher, his family, and others. Students are forced to understand the compulsion, otherwise they will be punished, scolded, and others. Therefore, students become fearful, why students can not? Because teachers do knowledge transfer, knowledge possessed a mediocre student, makes teachers think should teach all students. The effect when students forget, the teachers were complaining and angry, students become fearful and reluctant to try.

I really remember about this method. because from I entry in Faculty of Mathematics and Science, the first lesson I got from Mr. Marsigit is about will , attitude, knowledge, skill and experience. the first lecture , I try to explain this method such this. Someone can’t make us be a success person except our self. To be success also we need skill and technique. We use it to give the best answer when diligent to work it. So that in lecture if determined there are 13 face to face, this thing can’t load many knowledge to the students. Only skill and technique of students can make their knowledge add. Because of their skill many experience they get.
    The lecturer only make us remember that knowledge who we get by our self will more attached in our mind. Only you can help your self, only you can do it. In English, if we want speak English, please look for the daily conversation, then practice it. Although the implementation of English and Indonesian language really different such as there’s one word in English but we add one word in the last, it will give the different meaning. For example : ‘look after’ and ‘look into’ same use ‘look’ but because add ‘after’ and ‘into’ have the different meaning. We just need how to understand the using. The people want to try must be great, different with the arrogant person. The arrogant person can’t get anything. English is yours, English has contents, language without contents is non sense.  You are the actor! You are a actor in this English. If you want to increase your English, of course you can. Only you can change your self. Expressing your self to get the best in your life. Remember about the humility and the low self-esteem. The good person is the humility and the person not prepare their self is the low-self-esteem. And trough of this reflection, we can get everything from your self, to look for knowledge and the independent learning.

This is the amazing photo. this place is where all of creativity gather. After I read step by step, I try want to understand what the mean of Kant project. the first thing when he gave the project of enlightenment is about the develop of metaphysics and ethnics of autonomy. this is thing really amazing to me. I also agree with his statement about moral is not the abstract principles. there are 2 laws, first is nature law and the freedom law. both have a relation to one another. if we want to stay in the first law, we will disturb the second law. so that we have to keep our balance about this law.

about the fourth dimension which talk about time. this thing want us feel that time is there with us. maybe in third dimension and the five dimension , we will not talk about time because that thing focus to about angel and corruption. Oldani, T. in Derrick Coetzee, (2004) strived to explain that two universes, if they intersected, would intersect on a plane; this makes sense, because two lines intersect on a point, two planes intersect on a line, so it would make sense for two universes to intersect on a plane. Further, he perceived that from the fourth dimension, every point within a three-dimensional object would be visible; one other thing, a four dimensional object going through our universe would appear as a three-dimensional object changing shape and color as it goes through our universe. now there's a question. how we can go to the fourth dimension ? We can look at "time" from a slightly different point of view. Mr. Tatsuo Motokawa, a biologist, says that mammals' time is proportional to the one fourth power of their weight. It means, the larger the size of the animal, the slower the passage of time becomes. Besides, the number of breathings and heartbeats and so on, which they do till they die, are all the same regardless of species. That is to say, each body size has a different unit of time. For example, it's usually said that an elephant's life is about one hundred years long and a rat's life is only a few years. Never let it be said that their lives are "transitory." Because, according to Motokawa, elephants have their own sense of time and so do rats. In other words, how long we perceive rats can live is far less important than how long they would perceive they can live.

I thought science is everything, science is infinite. but now, i know science has weak.  Theories cannot explain experimentally indefinite "facts." Limits of sciences and of theories are not defined by the non-strict notions of "spheres" like "physical," "biological," or "social." Science has limits and they are determined by its form. The limits are revealed as impossibilities for scientific research in those fields that come out of the first order-the timeless, the spaceless, the non-corporal, the non-eventful, the illogical. After I read this article, the thirteen article almost explain all of the problem which start from mathematics and language first. just remember we can't force the students to think like teenagers. I had been share with my friends in India, he said the method of his country is same such Marty. I try to explain the effect if we use the marty model. but he said the Most of d students get good marks in maths so why this can understand that student take interest in it. actually this is right, but they don't think about the students was not understand. maths not only for the smart students but to all students. If the Pope of Franciscus said “Protect all people especially the pure”; I will say “Protect all people especially the younger/powerless from the adults/powerful misbehavior”. Teaching cannot totally be compared with soldiers going to war. No, no way; because there is no enemy outside there but clearly the biggest enemy is inside the adults-powerful-self ego-pure mathematicians-determined teachers.

after I read the dialogue, I just thought the arrogant person not aware with his arrogant. God must now, who the good person. he must aware what he did . because of his ego , many young students will be crazy. There's no benefits of arrogant, just aware there's no benefits. arrogant just make us be worry and never feel comfortable. he will feel it in his life. that's why God never want us to be a arrogant.

the good learning is to simulating. why? because we can see the students in young school. they can do everything they want from follow their idol, such they simulate their style, language, their thinking, to be smart like their idol, that make change of their self. language is the first communication to build everything. language is yours.
I think force from adult to young students it make wrong perception. we can't do it to young students. just remember the meaning of BIG, SMALL, NEAR, FAR, LOW, HIGH, WIDE, MANY, FEW, NUMBER, PART, ...etc. we can't translate this event. we never know the person will big or when the people still small.

I agree with you , sir. Mathematics not about ego and emotional. mathematics is about intuition. to difficult for young generation to learn such learn in university. they can't to do this. they force their brain until they are crazy. but the result is zero. according to me, the unsatisfied result of their work can influence their emotion quotient be crazy. the unsatisfied of students can make students do something wrong, it take in law way. we have to worry of this thing. that's why we can't apply the university learning to young students. we need to develop the intuition learning to students. just think what we can think, but don't force our selves to think that we can't think.

I really agree that Technology Information help the students, i know there is contradiction in this thing, but we have to see in the other side. there's no contradiction if we see the benefits of IT.  It needs a holistic, comprehensive, clear picture, sincerity or without any prejudice and without any certain motif to understand the position and the nature of younger learner and the role of adult peoples. now I understand what the really Mr. Marsigit want. the simple mathematics , not force the students such the students of university learning. we not yet find the way to make the simple mathematics to elementary school only. but in process , sometimes some teachers try to do it. actually it still not perfect but they have to step by step. mathematics in elementary school is play. that's about the creativity of students. thanks to Mr. Marty too, to give model to this thing, but maybe the model still not match. but i appreciate it. maybe we should find the model to elementary students . so they not feel stress and crazy to face the problem from their teacher. the problem which teachers force them to learn such the students of university.thanks.

many books have the words is meaningless in the paragraph. that make the students can not understand more. they are confuse to translate that word. I thought Mathematics books need the simple language and the many exercise to make students have many experience to work the questions. the communication will be difficult if there are the meaningless word in the book. it take too long time to learn , it's dawdle time. mathematics in school need exercise. the theory will we get also but not directly. thanks.

After read the article above , I more understand about the mathematics of language. the intuition have the first position to take success of this thing. we can not force students in school such we force the students in university. this is different. they will lost the intuition. that is so controversial if the students lost their intuition because of their teachers. actually the teachers must build the intuition to their students, to facilitate them for their future. According to me after read this article. this is the controversial topic. actually the government have to prepare the curriculum to build Indonesia country to better not only one hand. this thing really to show the weak of education in Indonesia. the government can change the curriculum but they have to think the effect. the understanding level and the lessons level is different. there is discriminative with teachers of elementary school. we can't let always happen until future. this is the name of not fair. the curriculum will be success if the teachers have contribution to make it. because the problem not in university, but in the school. we can't force the students in the school such we force students in university. actually our education government need to think again about this change. thanks to share it , Mr. Marsigit.

This article give a new thing of mathematics. the new thing about the model of mathematics. The model who give by Marty, actually can make the intuition of students is lost. we have give more attention to this. because without intuition, non sense to learn everything. the mode of from Marty had been explain by Mr. Marsigit in lecturer's. after I listen the explanation of mr.marsigit, I try to understand that mathematics need language and the main to make it be one is intuition. we need intuition. teachers have to build the intuition in their students heart. if teachers failed to build it , the students will weak in their thinking. we need intuition to do everything. and to our students.

After I read this article, I agree with Mr. Marsigit, because we can't force students to learn such pure mathematics. this thing influence the emotional of students. students can kill their self because of stress. students need practice not theory. their brain of elementary school to practice only. if we force them to understand about the theory, they will be crazy. teachers as facilitator must be creative, they have to creative with their environment.
students not weak in every lesson,the problem is only the creativity teaching of teachers. we can't say they have the weak thinking. we have our talent. talent's of students is different, this is same with their thinking. After I read this article, I think that the pure mathematics and mathematics education have their potential by their self. they need to know about their position. the pure mathematics is not for the mathematics education , because of the basic is different. the relationship both of them is different also. the mathematics education is familiar with teaching, but different with the pure mathematics, the pure mathematics don't have the social relation, because they don't teach people. the mathematics education need to know the problem about the students and what method who can change the score of their students from bad and can get the good score. the mathematics has that basic. but not in pure mathematics, so that's why the pure mathematics can't take to much know from mathematics education because the mathematics education have to practice their knowledge in people.

from this article , I can understand the different of the pure mathematics and the mathematics education. the pure mathematics have their role and the mathematics education have their role also such be a teacher. the mathematics education what method they want to give to students and it appropriate with the think of students. we need to do step by step to increase mind interval students. there are many level to make them to be up in the mountain. they need to know how the feel to climb the mountain. but this is different with pure mathematics who only see the mathematics from mountain, we can force the students to follow their think, I believe when they are students , they can understand mathematics not direct. they need to climb to understand it, they need to pass the level. this is the name of arrogant, if a person think can learn mathematics to much, they want all of people around them same like them, it's non sense to students, they have to understand the position of students and the pure mathematics, that's why there's education mathematics, their job is to give knowledge to students, how to climb the mountain.

After I read this article, I can give conclusion that we can't say mathematics is beautiful by our self. it's not true. according to mathematician, mathematics is beautiful, but we should know there are three kinds of students. first , students like mathematics, second , the students not give response to mathematics, and the last is the haters of mathematics. we can't force them to learn mathematics except the mathematics lovers. to all of mathematician, maybe you can force your self to learn mathematics, but you can't do it to students not like mathematics and the haters of mathematics. you need to have any method to teach them, because in their mind is we don't need mathematics. remember we don't need calculus in our home, our parents never use mathematics when we eating, cooking, and so on. we only need to know about mathematics.

This cycle is one of the good method to know that the students understand about the lesson or not. the proof is the cycle 2 better than cycle 1.

After read this article, to make students understand with mathematics is to always do exercises. To finish mathematics questions we have to use our logical thinking. but to students we just need to trust them, let them be creative to finish the questions. we need to give the students many motivations to make them always have spirit. Home schooling is good also. but interaction between students is not there. they can't socialization with their environment.
to make students enjoy with mathematics is to always give challenge to them. make the creative mathematics. LKS method is one of the best method to them. so they always work the homework. not only in mathematics, but in another lesson also do this method. but don't forget to give them the character education. teachers have to give the complete packet about lesson. there are knowledge, experience, education character and another good method.

the relationship between language and mathematics never apart. because when we want to work mathematics , we have to understand what the questions and then we can answer it. we have to know the mean of the questions, so we can work the questions. many students can't translate the meaning of questions, actually, it's difficult, but teacher as a facilitator must understand what they have to do. they have to facilitate their students so the student can understand and work the questions. I think , there's no problem with the difficult language to learn mathematics. because the difficult language can develop think of students, and their logic will be better.

I agree with your statement, sir. the good mathematic is the rich mathematical. teachers don't need to act such the mathematic is perfect than another lesson so that they make the wrong teaching. the good method of teaching is how to make students understand and get many knowledge. to get the knowledge students must try their best to seek the knowledge by their self. so, in the class, student have to be the active students, not be the passive students. because the teachers only facilitator. a good teacher must be understand about this situation. to get the best of their lesson , I agree to use the method of teacher only a faciitator. and the teachers don't act such the mathematic is beautiful but they have to listen their students "what they feel about learn mathematic?" if the answer is beautiful , that's a perfect answer, but if the answer is "bad", the teachers have to correct their self.

Setelah membaca artikel ini, saya merasa bahwa pendidikan di Indonesia tidak mengarah pada pendidikan modern, tetapi masih saja berjalan ke metode tradisional. Hal ini seperti melihat sesuatu hanya berjalan ditempat saja. Guru berperan dominan dalam hal ini. Seharusnya guru hanya sebagai seorang fasilitator. Kebingungan yang dimiliki guru-guru ketika apa yang harus dilakukan ketika mengajar juga merupakan masalah yang tidak sepele. Usaha yang dilakukan untuk pengerjaan matematika sangat baik, tapi alangkah lebih baiknnya lagi guru-guru mendisplinkan untuk siswa belajar sendiri. Karena ilmu yang didapat sendiri itu akan lebih diingat dibandingkan transfer ilmu. Hal ini mengingatkan saya tentang diskusi perkuliahan tentang metode matematika yang baik untuk siswa-siswa. Posisi guru dan siswa dalam kelas, guru bukanlah dewa yang harus dipuja-puja untuk memberikan ilmu mereka, guru juga tidak mungkin bisa membuat siswa sukses tanpa keinginan dari siswanya. Posisi siswa kini harus bisa mencari informasi sendiri. Melalui artikel ini, hampir sama permasalahan yang dimiliki oleh sekolah-sekolah. Pembelajaran matematika yang datar-datar saja, membuat semuanya bosan. Untuk itu, mari kita buat pembelajaran matematika itu menjadi hal yang bisa membuat penasaran. Siswa yang penasaran pasti akan terus mencari jawabannya, para guru disini pun akan lebih kreatif lagi dalam pengembangan pembelajaran matematika.
